SEALAND is owned by Veljko “Vele” Ćetković, a merchant marine Ship’s Mate and Yacht Master, with over 20 years of experience in the yacht business. Born and raised in Split, Croatia – the historic capital of Dalmatia – his connection to the sea began in childhood through fishing, boating, and competitive sailing on Optimist and Cadet Class boats. This passion naturally led him toward nautical education and a dynamic career in the maritime industry.

His professional journey spans roles as a Draft and Cargo Surveyor, Marine Broker, and International Forwarder for multi-modal transport systems. Additionally, he served as Deputy Managing Director of a superyacht maintenance and refitting shipyard, where he managed complex projects and operations.

Combining hands-on expertise with a deep understanding of maritime operations, Vele brings a well-rounded perspective to every challenge – from navigation and logistics to yacht management and brokerage. His career reflects dedication, adaptability, and a relentless commitment to excellence in the yachting and maritime sectors.
